Bookkeeping and tax planning

Know where your business stands

Good records give you a clearer view of who owes you money, what you need to pay and where your tax position sits.

Our bookkeeping support is designed to reduce the admin time that can take evenings and weekends away from the business and family. For existing business clients, our April and May tax-planning meetings review the current position and consider measures that may reduce tax before the financial year closes.

Businesses operating through a company or trust face financial-account, income-tax, distribution and ASIC obligations. Partnerships need both partnership and individual returns. We help with those requirements so you can focus on the work of running the business.

Second Opinion Program

A second opinion on your tax

The program has a $600 upfront fee and applies only after an initial eligibility conversation.

Past clients in the program have recorded tax savings between $600 and $100,000. Results will depend on each client's circumstances.

Check eligibility

Contact us for an initial conversation so we can assess whether you meet the program criteria.

Provide the records

If eligible, send your most recent financial accounts and tax return and pay the $600 fee upfront.

Review and meet

We review the accounts and tax return, then meet with you to discuss what we found and the options available.

Apply the guarantee

If we cannot save at least $600 in tax, we refund the upfront fee. If we can save more than $600, we discuss the available options.

The dedicated program flyer also pledges $100 of the fee to a registered charity of your choice.

R.E.S.U.L.T.S

Review your business and personal goals

The R.E.S.U.L.T.S program is not for everyone. Its seven-part framework looks beyond compliance to the value a business creates for its owners, clients, team and community.

R

Increased Revenue

Review the numbers, identify the business's revenue drivers and consider ways to enhance total revenue.

E

More Enjoyment

Reconnect the hard work of running a business with the freedom and personal reasons that led you to begin.

S

Excess Surplus

Understand how the business is performing on profit while considering the role of purpose in sustainable performance.

U

UN Global Goals

Consider how the business could align with goals addressing poverty, inequality and climate change.

L

Tracking Leads

Keep a closer view of the leads that can become future revenue and profit margin.

T

Better Total Clients

Review total clients, how often they buy and how much they spend. For example, 10% growth in each produces 67% revenue growth.

S

Something Personal

Name an improvement outside the numbers, such as more time with family or another personal priority.
